RYDER is thrilled to announce the addition of Tom Roberts to our team. Tom joins us as a skilled geotechnical engineer, bringing valuable experience and a strong academic background to support our offshore energy projects.
Tom has been working in the offshore sector for around three years, with his previous role as a geotechnical engineer for an offshore site investigation company. His hands-on experience in geotechnical drilling vessels has seen him complete numerous ground investigations around the North Sea, focusing on offshore wind farms, jack-up sites, and cable/pipeline corridors.

Tom’s academic achievements include a BSc in Earth Science from Newcastle University, obtained in 2020, and an MSc in Engineering Geology from Leeds University, completed in 2021. His educational background, combined with his practical experience, positions him well to contribute to RYDER’s ongoing projects and future developments.
