RYDER is proud to announce that Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, Anthony Bradshaw, has won the regional award in the prestigious Young Engineers Geotechnical Poster Competition 2024. Anthony’s impressive entry has earned him the honour of representing the North East of England in the national awards, showcasing his technical knowledge and dedication to the geotechnical field.
The competition, which took place at The Common Room in Newcastle, provided a platform for young engineers to present innovative geotechnical research through poster presentations. Anthony’s poster, titled ‘Influence of depth and land cover on the biostimulation process of naturally occurring MICP microbe communities’ was recognised by the judging panel for its insightful approach and relevance to the geotechnical challenges in today’s engineering landscape.
“We’re thrilled to see Anthony receive this well-deserved recognition,” said Fraser Gibson, Managing Director at RYDER.
“His dedication to advancing geotechnical engineering and his innovative approach make him a valuable member of our team. We are confident that he’ll continue to excel as he represents the North East at the national level and embodies the Deep Confidence we bring to every project.”
Anthony will now advance to the national stage, where he will compete against regional winners from across the country.
