Key responsibilities:
- Work as part of the project team to identify customer analysis requirements and develop solutions to engineering problems.
- Lead and monitor analysis on live projects.
- Contribute towards the ongoing continuous improvement of analysis techniques.
- Line management, coaching/mentoring, and development of analysis engineers.
- Writing and reviewing client proposals – recognising client requirements and identifying the most appropriate analysis to meet their needs.
- Preparing and reviewing analysis input data – liaising with clients and the analysis team to ensure the most appropriate data is available and utilised.
- Building and developing analysis models and methodologies.
- Reviewing and checking orcaflex analysis models built by other engineers.
- Running simulations and interpreting results.
- Writing and reviewing reports.
Knowledge and Experience
- 3+ years OrcaFlex
- Scripting languages (i.e. Python)
- Experience leading analysis scopes and liaising with clients
- RAO derivation
- Mooring analysis
- Subsea engineering
- Offshore windfarms
- Subsea umbilicals, riser and flowlines (SURF) and or power cables
